Monkey See grew from my thoughts and views on politics and power. The work deals with the way that society tends to place its leaders on pedestals as though the attainment of powere were in itself a virtue. As those leaders change, the cycle repeats itself. Society pays homage to the new power generation and former heroes are swept aside. In Monkey See the characters ultimately find powere in their own individuality.
